Talk about a guy who totally changed his acting MO midway through his career.

He used to be a major heavy.

    That's too bad. I didn't know that.

I thought that was because he was shitfaced. He sure looked it.

The original Naked Gun movie was funny. Airplane was funny. That's it among his post "major heavy" years.

I met him when I was a kid. I had him sign a baseball "Lt. Frank Drebbin". I've still got it somewhere.

His act as the ump in the baseball game was classic.

The baseball highlights on the jumbotron weren't bad, either. :D

Yeah, that video was awesome. They still play that at some stadiums and it cracks me up every time I see it.

"It’s a topsy-turvy world, Jane, and maybe the problems of two people don’t amount to a hill of beans. But this is our hill … and these are OUR BEANS!”

One of the funniest lines (and deliveries) in movie history.

A lot of people try to make movies like The Naked Gun and Airplane, but they seem like difficult movies to do really well.
It seems like they're either really, really good or really, really bad.

Gotta love the look on Enberg's face as Mel Allen says, "How about that" after Griffey's head falls off.

I also like the tiger mauling the Angel at second base and the fact that there were like eight announcers for the game, including Dr. Joyce Brothers.

Oh, and don't forget his turn in Creepshow opposite Ted Danson.
