I'm shocked that you only have 25,000 posts on this site.

Are you saying that's why I'm lonely?

Think about it: A five-tier ice cream cake with a cool design -- maybe G.I. Joe and Barbie or, better yet, Ariel, at the altar -- that's almost to pretty to eat; of course, you do eat it because, come on, it's ice cream cake, and who could let ice cream cake just sit?

Plus the throwing the cake in the face becomes so much better. You'll have to use spoons, so it becomes more about accuracy than tradition.

    Congrats agate_monkey on the engagement.

Advice for the wedding - only help with the plans when asked. Otherwise, stay the fuck out of the way.

Um ... I had a cookie monster-blue cake for my last birthday. Future Mrs. BBAM made it for me.

It was easy for me. Fiancee said, "We're having a ceremony?"

With her dad deceased and the rest of her family 8,000 miles away, a big ceremony was not a priority with her.

Of course, the closer it came, the more she decided that she did want a few special individual touches. But on a scale of 1 to 100 (with Bridezilla being 100), Svetlana was a 1.5. Thank God, seeing as I almost ruined what little ceremony there was.
