    I had to share this news...sorry if it's a case of self-love....

So I left the journalism industry a couple of years ago, completely shifting careers to the corporate benefits/insurance industry. As it turns out, I'm good at what I do, and was asked last year and again this year to teach contract employees how to manage benefits, etc.

Well, a full-time teaching position here at the company opened and I, along with 16 others, applied. And after a LOONNGG interview process, I found out 15 minutes ago that I got the job!

    Sorry...but had to share!

Which was the harder adjustment of going from the newspaper industry to the corporate benefits/insurance industry: The lower pay or the worse hours?
