Not altogether shocking from a company whose founder, while building the business in 1943, was also a recruiter for the Swedish Nazi Party and kept ties with his old friends well after the war's full scope had come to light.

But I imagine this is going to be quite the conundrum for socially conscious buyers.

You can always use throw pillows and accent colors to soften edges of the East German prison-inspired design.

If the cells were constructed as well as the furniture, the prisoners could have left any time they liked.

Not totally surprised. Nor would it surprise me if others did the same.

If you could get free (or nearly free) labor, wouldn't you take it? Sweatshops or otherwise?

Are you performance art? No, not everyone would take free forced labor.

So Mark has previously established that he's anti-black people, and now that he's pro-forced labor.

Dare we ask his opinion on slavery?

Hey, the Germans forced Scandanavian women into bearing children for their "master race" during World War II, didn't they? Talk about forced labor ...

    No, not everyone.
