Because the crowds don't interfere with the action!

The tournament would be no contest.

Hall would be an OA so he is too old, but you add Skinner, Couturier and Johansson to those guys and Canada would certainly be as dominant as they were in Ottawa (in every game but the semis).

Good start for Canada, up 2-0 early, not so good for TSN with a very annoying audio lag.

    Finns look very intimidated.

2-0 Canada just halfway through the first. Finnish coach looked like he was going to either rip someone's head off or have a massive coronary after the second goal.

And that audio lag is a giant pain.

Yeah, the lag made the goals less exciting. But it's great to see Team Canada off to a great start.

Huggy, are Dougie & Freddie Hamilton's names really Dougie & Freddie?

I know my name isn't Huggy, but yes, those are their real names.

Thanks. That's one cruel joke by their parents.

Wonder if there's a third brother called Gord-O

Asked someone I know who works for the IceDogs that very question and yes, those are their names. Freddie might be the last junior player named Fred/Freddie/Frederick.

That time out seemed to have settled the Finns down some. Visentin looked sharp in the first.

Damn! 2-1. Good shot by Ruutu, but Visentin should of stopped that, imo.

That didn't take long. Stone makes it 3-1.
