Is there some kind of optimum angle? The highest I could get was 894.

 

I think the best part of this game is when the kitty comes close to stopping, and he slowly hops along, bounding over the plants, getting small bounces off the trampoline, and then gets blown straight up in the air before stopping on some spikes

 

The sound when the kitty hits the trampoline...is that the same sound as when Mario jumps on the springy board thing in Super Mario Bros. for Super Nintendo?

 

Between 25 and 28 seemed to work well for me. Even with no help from explosives or trampolines, I was launching the kitty about 300 feet. Beyond that, you really need to chain together a few reactions.
