If you take two sh***y airlines and turn them into one sh***y airline...

    I can't see the need for two California hubs. SFO is a better airport so maybe they choose to dump LAX.

    Denver is a huge United base but I could see it getting dropped in favor of Chicago. Houston is their gateway to Latin America so I would expect it is safe as well.

    Dulles is an embarassingly shitty airport for a nation's capitol so they should probably ditch it too.

    I never had any problems with Continental. They have a major hub near me. And, as long as my miles can be joined up and prices stay down, I'll be happy with the merger.

    As long as they keep that hub near us and keep up the current Continental service from there, we're good.
