If you could have played for any team.......

me, I'd choose the early 70's Boston Bruins. They won, owned the city.....and partied! It was still a time when athletes could leave the rink and celebrate a win with the fans.......so many people have told me stories about being with that team at various places around town. They just seem like a bunch of guys that would have had a lot of fun no matter what.

The early 70s Oakland A's. What a rowdy group to see in its habitat

I'd give my left nut just to have been in the building, let alone play on the team.

Simply because they did the impossible over the hated Yankees. 1980 US hockey is a very close number two for obvious reasons.

And you're going to hate my second choice, too.

Greatest hockey tournament in the last hundred years.

'72 Summit Series. Team Canada. Sorry, but Miracle on Ice is a distant second

Nothing else even comes close although this might: '87 Canada Cup

And for the non-hockey fans, one of the best moments in WS history
