    They may not, but they'll use that excuse against the employee anyways. They'll question their commitment to the job.

    We could all be like the woman who fumed herself to death in her car while napping between one of her 4 jobs.

    All of her jobs probably added up to 600 bucks a week.

    Very few. The majority of those working more than 40 hours per week at minimum wage are already working two or more jobs. All they gotta do is go out and get more jobs.

    Proportionally speaking, very few of hourly workers -- full-time or not -- make the minimum wage (or below). Like maybe 4% ... but remember that figure treats the high school kid working 10 hours a week the same as the hotel cleaning lady working 40, so the number of hours actually compensated at the minimum wage is, proportionally speaking, way the hell lower.
