If there's one guy on earth cooler than George Clooney it's Leonard Cohen

And the guy is 77. One of my all time fav Cohen songs and I won't even get into "Hallelujah"

Am still a huge fan of his early works, his novel "Beautiful Losers" and his poetry, particularly his collection "Flowers for Hitler"

What was Robert Altman's trademark? Movies where the dialogue danced and wove and doubled back and overlapped and overlapped and overlapped.

Robert Fuckin' Altman stopped the dialogue for Leonard Cohen's soundtrack.

I'll be willing to bet that George Clooney holds a tune better than Leonard Cohen does.

I'd take that bet. Clooney wanted to do his own vocals for "O Brother, Where Are Thou" and even worked with a vocal coach. He did NOT get his aunt's vocal talent.

I'd bet JR holds a tune better than Cohen. He belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as much as Cohen does. [/crossthread]

First, George Clooney will take Manhattan, and then he will take Berlin
