If the Rangers win the ALCS again or even the WS, will the media get rings?

I doubt they would get rings. They might get a Nellie Cruz mini-boomstick.

 

Or some of those highly sought claw and antlers shirts.
One of the dumbest yet most unique themes I've ever seen.

I still remember those Tampa players mocking it in Game 4, ALDS.
Then they choked at home on the end of one of those antlers, thrown by Cliff Lee's claw.

 

Granted, it's facetious, but we talked about this way back when I was covering a World Series winner.
Will they offer rings to the media? Would you accept if offered?
Answer: Anything that helps you get laid in a bar is worth it so take he damn ring.
Real answer: No, do not accept it.
Result: Rings were not offered. We did receive a bat with our names engraved in the barrel with a brass plaque on it with the details of the achievement.
