    I think the Mets rotation is an absolute disaster, despite the bigger names.

    Who can really catch the Mets this year? They'll win the East.

    After that, who knows? Baseball's playoffs are very random.

    Trachsel's a never been?

    He's made 370 starts, won 130 or so games, tossed well over 2200 innings and has been the longest-tenured member of two rotations. He also carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning of the wild card playoff game for the Cubs in 1998. So just because a guy's not going to the HOF means he's a never been? ::)

    I cannot believe we're comparing the Mets and Marlins rotations. After all, baseball's outdated economic model dictates that only one of these teams can compete.
