I still see her more as the female Barry Bonds than as the female John McEnroe.

She's one of the best of all-time, perhaps the best.
    Everybody thinks she's on steroids.
    Nobody likes her.

This is also the same person who claimed . . .

“I’m like one of those girls on a reality show that has all the drama, and everyone in the house hates them because no matter what they do, like, drama follows them. I don’t want to be that girl.”

    And this . . .

"I just have no respect for anybody who can’t play a professional game and just be really professional out here.”

And who told her opponent this . . .

“I’m going to get you in the locker room for that; you don’t know me."

    1. No
    2. Yes
    3. Yes

And if she was white, she would not be half as famous as she is today.

You don't think she's considered one of the best ever?

I agree with your last point as well.

    Really?

She has more Grand Slam wins than Billie Jean King.

I don't think she was as good as Navratilova or Graf.

I doubt there are many who think there have been five better women's tennis players in the last 50 years.

Sounds about right. I'd put her at No. 3, 4 or 5.

Although I think an in-her-prime Seles would beat Serena more often than not.

But women's tennis is so so weak. Kim Clijsters had a baby and came back and won a Grand Slam tournament. Serena could go take off year, gain another 40 pounds and still come back and reach the semis of the Open. She's just that much stronger (and scarier) than the rest.

Yeah? Name some other players from the 80s aside from Navratilova and Evert.

I was more disagreeing with the best all time. She is in the discussion, but there have been better. Hasn't Williams been on and off the tour a lot in her career?

Give me Martina everyday of the week and twice on Sunday over this boorish brat.
