Why in this day and age does anyone need to run all 119 college teams' schedules? And why would you need to run them before August?

Nobody said it'd be easy. Gotta be better than typing them all out, though.

You could use ESPN, they seem to have them team-by-team. Just open the webpage up as a word document and copy and paste. You can then unformat it out of the table, or keep it as is.

Agreed. One run in the special section should be enough.

But if the special section goes to press before AP sends the schedules you may need them before August.

What special section goes to press before mid-August?

And I concur with the ESPN cut-and-paste. I used ESPN's roster links to search for all the kids playing college ball (D-I and I-AA) for a big ol' list for my new publication. Quite swank.

Seems like that is typical intern/part-timer duty. At my old shop, the part-timer types in every schedule for every sport. It's part of the gig, and he never complained.
