I saw the thread title and instantly knew which column this was going to be.

The current rating on the story is 1.02 (based on a scale of 1-5), meaning someone actually gave it a 2.

In Steigerwald World, a cagey murderer could dress his victims in athletic apparel, claim they had it coming and get off scot-free every time.

Maybe someone can ask Stow Steigerwald, if he ever comes out of his coma, why he thought it was a good idea to wear Giants' gear a 70s porn mustache to a Dodgers' home opener anywhere at any time. when there was a history of out-of-control drunkenness and arrests at that event going back several years.

This guy used to be King Shit of Pittsburgh sports media.

Now we know why no one will hire him anymore.

Also, there's a typo in the headline, and he originally misspelled the guy's name as Snow.

He also writes a blog where he tries to be an irascible curmudgeon: http://justwatchthegame.com/blog/

He's been railing against men wearing jerseys to games for years. He probably got a hard-on when this happened. Here's what he wrote there about this on his blog:

    And in Pittsburgh, no less...

Are there more fans who wear more jerseys to more road games than Steelers fans?

Just take it easy, Champ. Why don't you stop talking for a while? Maybe sit the next couple of plays out. You know what I mean?

To be fair, Steelers fans don't just wear jerseys to go to games. A black Hines Ward jersey is acceptable attire for most black tie weddings in Pittsburgh.

Can I nominate a columnist/sports editor from one of our area papers for a permanent spot on "Idiot Columnist of the Day?" He once advocated in print that they quit playing the national anthem before games because it's a waste of time, and I have yet to see him write a positive column on anything other than one of the four high schools in the city he covers.
