I think America needs to go much further in acceptance of other religions. Be more tolerant, like, say, Muslims.

This would open doors toward getting america where it needs to be.

 

Sooner or later I have a feeling this thread will be locked.

 

We should build a mosque on that site you can see from outer space. Beautiful, huge, with a million square feet of marble and handmade rugs for worship, and ten million square feet of hi-tech attached office space and across the dome of the thing we lay a mosaic of tiles that reads in letters 50 feet high, "You Don't Scare Us."

As long as there aren't school children wearing shirts with American flags it is cool with me.

 

The intent of this being that radical young men of an undetermined race/ethnic group between 24-36 years of age would not desecrate an area near a Mosque. Oh wait. We've seen the Sunnis and Shiites trade blows there before.
