... but it's hard to blame Paul Newman for popping Chatlotte Rampling near the end of The Verdict.

Hope that's not a spoiler. The movie is 25 years old.

A little warning would be nice.

You know, for d_b, who is still waiting for The Sting to hit his local cinema.

I went through a Paul Newman phase on Netflix a few months back...really liked The Verdict. And Nobody's Fool.

    I'm watching it right now.

A great flick (just switched on to it). Is there a better moment than when the jury foreman asks the question about the award phase after the verdict?

"Who were these men? I wanted to be a nurse!"

Nobody's Fool, I thought, was a very good movie. And Newman is terrific in "Hudsucker Proxy."

I always wind up spinning that back a couple of times, just for jack warden's reaction.

Hudsucker Proxy is a very underrated film. Robbins was great, as well.

The odd name probably didn't help matters at the box office.
