If I ever get to the point where I wish anyone dead, I hope someone kills ME.
Wishing death upon someone is about as harsh as it gets.

Really? I always thought it was critically and popularly revered.

maybe it's just bc I never saw it in syndication. I grew up loving that show, watching with my father, who would occasionally comment about Loni Anderson, something to the tune of, "God broke the mold with her."

I wish enlightenment on people. Much more powerful when someone realizes the error of their ways.

On this site, I've done it once. A long time ago. I think I remember taking some heat for it.

    For the record - Arafat.

I don't wish death upon people -- always thought that for the truly evil and heinous, the Rudolf Hess treatment (rotting away in prison) is sufficient. But I'll admit to having no regrets over bin Laden's death.

Chicago teenage recollection from 1975: The day after Sam Giancana, the monster who ran the Chicago Mafia, was assassinated in his home while fixing a midnight snack, my father said, "The world became a better place last night."

I can honestly say I have never wished anyone dead, nor been happy they died, other than when Osama bin Laden was killed. There are a few people who I wouldn't care, not one bit, if they died. But wished for it, or been happy about it? Only OBL.
