    I am glad you are embracing new forms of communicating. I disagree with you Twitter. Some people are funny, some are newsy, some are interesting. And a lot are boring or are trying to sell something.

    So I don't blame twitter for the boring boobs. I just unfollow them.

    Mike, I chuckled at most of your jokes, but I don't think you made your point well.

    Twitter is a "phenomenon" that's been covered thousands of times over by many media. If the blog post was a set-up for self-depreciating wisecracks: Great, it worked. But it really didn't propose a good or original argument against Twitter nor explain why journalists shouldn't use it.

    (And yeah, it's alway nice to have a curling story in your back pocket.)

    Yeah, I don't live in the area where I grew up, so I follow a bunch of newspapers around there and have the stories sent to an app on my phone. It's just another way to try to get people reading the newspaper and there's nothing wrong with that.
