    Honestly.
I am sitting in my chair, watching TV, and thinking "it won't be long 'til bed" then realize it's 5:45.

I've always liked winter and colder weather (so long as it's 20's and warmer and not single digits). Don't mind the dark, but I'm always up until 1 or 2 a.m., so it doesn't matter much to me when the son goes down. I'm guaranteed to be out long after sundown no matter what.

The only thing I hate more than being indoors is not being outside.

God, you must really hate indoor track more than indoor field.

Yesterday was the earliest sunset of the year here. They now get later until June or early July. There’s hope.

I love the cold weather. It beats sweating outside while navigating through a swamp.

I love the colder temps, but hate the shorter days.
School days start at 6:55 here. This means kids are catching their buses in the dark.

My girlfriend is a middle school teacher and the day begins at 7:20. It’s a relatively sizable town for around here, so some kids are on the bus an hour beforehand. That’s nuts.

We humans are carbon-based beings. We biologically require sunlight by any means attainable.

If I could, I’d hate winter twice and then — then — kick it in the crotch. I really hate winter.

As long as it doesn't snow its ass off, I'm good with it.

Where I live, fall and spring last a good three weeks each if we're lucky.

I really don't mind winter for the weather. I do hate 40 degrees and raining because of the mud, but I can deal with the cold for a few weeks and like the snow quite a bit.
I just can't take the getting dark by supper time bit.
