I question the sanity of Rolling Stone readers

    Same in Minnesota.

    Even some Rush was played :D

    Punk didn't get any kind of major radio play around the time the first Boston album was released, at least in Minnesota that I remember. How could it have affected FM radio listening habits?

    Toronto had a real punk movement in those days but the only station that would play punk and new wave music that was CFNY, a small station located in my neck of the Toronto 'burbs. Those of us into that stuff sought out that station but that music certainly wasn't influencing the listeners of CHUM-FM or Q107, the rock behemoths of the day.
