    In the late 80s, I totally wanted to dress like Robert Palmer. Instead, I dressed like a poor man's Wyatt and/or Gary from Weird Science.

    If you stick with classics, you won't have to replace them till they wear out. And if you buy well-made classics, they won't wear out very soon.
