I missed my chance to protest (Bush)

So it turns out Bush was a mile from my house on Friday! I was driving to work and saw a pretty big gathering of war protesters, and wondered why they were there. It turns out he was in my area to talk about the credit crunch.

I should have joined in, but had no idea he'd be there. Rats!

I have protested Bush. It was fantabulous.

I have, too. In Houston, in 2002. They wouldn't let us anywhere near him, though. Kept us across the street and confined to a corner while his procession drove to the hotel where he was speaking. Enjoyed every minute of it.

Somewhere, Yawn just laughed with glee and he doesn't know why.

I booed the TV tonight when he threw out the first pitch.

I sure would have booed at the TV had I seen Dubass on the tube.

But alas, my TV doesn't have the channel.

Your TV doesn't have ESPN? What decade is this?

I hate him so much I make Fenian's mom shave every day.

The guy's essentially hidden from broad general-public exposure for the past several years. You get a clear, clean shot to remind him just what a diversified, non-handpicked crowd thinks -- you take it.

He was in Pittsburgh last week for a fundraiser. I was stuck in traffic due to the rolling closures on the Interstate, but I got to see the motorcade wiz by. I've seen many of them, and it's always exciting to see, regardless of who is in there.

Surprisingly, he wasn't in a limo, but rather I assume one of the many black Chevy Suburban's.

I missed my chance too ... by voting his butt out of office in 2004.

    I didn't in 2006, though.
