I miss Piggly Wiggly (where do you shop for groceries?)

    Time to debunk another Southern myth.

    Nobody I know uses Coke as a generic term for "soft drink." We DO use it as a generic term for a cola. And many people (myself included) specifically want a Coca-Cola, and would only drink Pepsi at gunpoint. Whenever we go to restaraunts that serve Pepsi products, we have to change strategies on the fly, which leads to exchanges like this.

    Me: "I'll have Coke to drink, please."
    Waitron: "Is Pepsi OK?"
    Me: "Let me have a Mountain Dew."

    Aldi is the greatest place to shop. Low fucking prices if you don't mind non-name brands. Occasionally you run into an item that's crap (smoked sausage), but that's pretty rare. Overall, Aldi rules.

    No. But Her Honor came back from the grocery store with a bunch of stuff for me to grill so I guess I better get off the pot tomorrow.

    Buy a coupon on ebay.. telling you, for a big ticket item, it's five bucks well spent.
