Even semi-pro players shouldn't have to wear hot pants and halter tops.

I know this is a quibble, a minor matter, but does the team make any money?

Do it! You probably will lose your investment, but it will be fun!

I say do a bikini night. Any woman who wears a bikini gets entered into a lottery for one free tan a month for one year at a local tanning salon. They all will receive a free slush and sun tan lotion rub down - of course those are by the owner and his SportsJournalists.com friends.

  7. Check out the Washington (Pa.) Wild. It's a successful semi-pro team that has a lot of great promotions.

Is it semipro (i.e,glorified rec league) or "small minor league" (i.e, independent league, which is glorified semipro)?
Either way could be fun but one would seem to be a bit more expensive than the other if you actually have to pay player salaries

Buy it, and then threaten to move it if the local taxpayers don't build you a new stadium.

Better yet, sell 10% to 20 people and tell them all that you lost money, so there's no dividend.

You know, you could make more money with a flop.
