I may have to turn Democrat, if only for the TV shows

  1. I don't watch any CBS shows - how do I vote?

I already know how you vote, so it'd be ridiculous to play this game. And yes, I was generalizing.

Jerry Bruckheimer's stuff in my mind appeals heavily to social conservatism, aging population. And that man owns CBS.

Um, Cold Case frequently highlighted antigay attitudes and actions as pernicious things.

There are a few well-known republicans who are on shows that were mentioned...

    Patricia Heaton on The Middle
    Nathan Fillion on Castle
    Tom Selleck on Blue Bloods
Tim Allen on Last Man Standing
    Kelsey Grammer on Boss

I don't agree on Bruckheimer. The Gil Grissom character on CSI was a complete bleeding heart. He was a great character on a great show, but there was an obvious lean there.

Hawaii Five-O has an aggressively diverse cast with two females in major lead roles. (I was sure when the show came out that Grace Park would be in a bikini every 15 minutes, but she's really only been in bathing-suit situations a handful of times.) Also they've had several shows about the struggles of single parents (of course, they should have the sense to just get married like it says in the Good Book).

Of course recasting Steve McGarrett as a Navy SEAL is pure Fox, along with the consistent theme of insidious government agendas.

You've destroyed his opportunity of being a double-naught spy.

You were not going to be allowed to name your kid after your mancrush.

That's too bad. Dimebag Darrell would have been a great name.

He'll just have to settle for "Dimebag" as a nickname.
