gammons' constant stumbling tonight cost them the extra minute they needed to explain it. Not his best night from the home camera.

Triple steals look a lot like regular steals the instant cameras zoom in to get a closeup of the lead runner. Unusual play but not necessarily a great replay visual.

 

I thought this thread was going to be about Eric Young.

 

It was the most pathetic triple steal in history.

Chicago pitcher does the fake-to-third, throw-to-first play with the bases loaded. Idiot baserunner Jamey Carroll falls for it and is trapped in a rundown. Dellucci takes off for home, so Konerko throws in the dirt to the right side of the plate. Dellucci safe. Meanwhile Carroll is running back to first, so when throw bounces in the dirt and catcher Toby Hall can't handle it, Carroll goes down to second.

They had to call it a triple steal because they don't use the term "softball play" to describe anything.

 

I was waiting to see it on BBTN too, no matter how f'ed up the play was. I need to quite wasting time cataloging my porn and getting back to watching TV incessantly.

 

I want more Berman in my Baseball Tonight. They took away Harold Reynolds. The least they could do is give me more "back, back, back, back, back ... gones."
