    We have two bats at the office. We call them Mortimer and Morticia. They don't bother me at all.

    The snake I found on the bedroom floor while I was housesitting did give me pause, but I guess after Peace Corps I don't get too surprised by flying, slithering or creepy critters.

    I'd look into whether the bat had ever flown into anybody else's apartment without being caught.
