Also, four Redskins making it is a farce.

How much of this is fan voting? I read something about Redskins fans making a complete farce of that part of the process in favor of their players.

Yea I don't remember when it came out, but it was an AP story. Apparently there were 15 Redskins leading the Pro-Bowl vote at the time due to some crazy get out the vote drive.

    fan voting is one-third.

favre and faneca were reputation pro bowlers. jets had five of seven deserving: thomas jones, leon washington, nick mangold, kris jenkins and darrelle revis.

oh, and agree that ronnie brown was a very borderline choice.

but this happens every year. ho-hum. a one-day story. by thursday, who gives a damn?

Favre got the most votes of ANY player in the AFC. Go figure.

Here's some analysis of the AFC East teams in the fan voting and final results.

If only they loved football as much as Brett.

And I'll bet whatever anyone wants that Brett doesn't play in the game (just like last year). Given the mass defections for the Pro Bowl, I'd like the odds of the three AFC signalcallers being Rivers, Pennington and Cassel.

Not like Favre will make the trip to Honolulu anyway. He has a furry tractor to get back to.
