    Never implied he was a bad parent. But the arrest, as has been the arrest of every Kennedy kid, has been a public matter. And it always will be, as long as the parent is in the public eye.

    Fenian ... meet reality.
     
  2. Of course it is, it's also a private matter -- for example, how the family handles it, the specifics of rehab etc.
    It's also not a public matter if Daddy's lawyers hush it up until a TV reporter from Maine digs it out while you're running for president.
