Albert Gore III is struck by a car and seriously injured while leaving a Baltimore Orioles game. Al and Tipper stayed by his side as Albert III remained in the hospital for three weeks. In the aftermath of the accident, Al began work on a book about one of his passionate political causes, the environment.

Just the fact anyone can go 100 mph on the San Diego Freeway at any hour is a marvel unto itself. Go that fast and chances are you will be scraped off someone's rear bumper.

The son of Gore, putting Paris and Lindsay to shame.

Yeah, Paris and Lindsay wouldn't be caught dead in a Prius.

AL III gets extra points off for playing "do you know who I am" card. As for the Bush twins, I saw a pretty good report about the work Jenna is doing with UNICEF and Babs the younger is working at a New York museum.

"Its ten o'clock ho, where the f*** 'yo seed at?" (Wu-Tang Clan reference)

I think we all used to do some stoopid shit as kids. I know kids from good families who got messed up and kids who were messed up and eventually turned out o-k. I tried not to get into too much trouble b/c I would've gotten my ass beat. But that is a hellalotta drugs.

A Prius doing 100 mph? It must have been launched off one of those ramps for Toyota's truck ads ... with a hurricane-force tailwind.

Maybe...if it gets stuck to the front bumper of a semi, like that guy in the wheelchair a few weeks ago.

You have any idea what kind of major asshat you have to be to get pulled over in a Cadillac for not having your headlights on...considering those cars have come equipped with automatic headlights that turn on and turn off by themselves since about 1980?

If my mother was Tipper Gore, I'd definitely need lots of coping devices.
