We're about to get pounded, too.

And I don't mean that in a good way.

We got about eight more inches last night, and it's been raining all morning --- again. That brings the total to about 18 inches in three days (not counting this morning), and more's on the way today and Thursday.

I've seen it rain harder, but I can't recall it raining more than it did Saturday and yesterday.

The river has breeched the levee in the town south of me (Geneva) and is expected to rise another five feet. About 50 homes are in danger near the river.

The real concern, though, is in the Panhandle where the land is relatively flat, and there aren't many levees.

    Temp got to 68 today.

We are now in a winter weather advisory with 2 to 5 inches of snow expected overnight.

    Mother Nature is a whore.
