i love the 80 to 90 degree weather i've been having, but i'd murder a hobo for a foot of snow here. instead, we'll get mid-40s with 35 mph wind. fuck. either warm or snow right now, jesus.

We had about an inch of rain yesterday. As I sit here, getting ready for work, I hear the rumble of what the weatherman said was to be about seven more.

We had a few tornado warnings in the area Tuesday night, and this is what the NWS folks were saying we can expect this afternoon and evening ...

Updated statement comes out in about an hour.

Got probably 4-5 inches overnight. The shit really begins to hit the fan later on this morning.

Would you at least wait for Zeke to get finished with him?

I feel for you, bro, but we get the leftovers.

Shorts on Sunday, tornado warnings on Monday and blizzard on Friday.

So far, today, we've had almost nine inches of rain. It started at about 3 a.m., and by 6 a.m. we were in the bedroom closet because a neighbor woke us up with a warning of a tornado in the area. Roads are flooded, and the river a mile behind my house has been forecast to pass flood stage tonight. There's a huge bluff on the other side of the river, so the water ain't going that way -- leaving us right in it's path.

But, on a side note, I braved the elements a few hours later and picked up the main course for tonight's crawfish boil.

With that much rain, you probably didn't have to leave the yard.

When I saw the thread title and the thread starter, I thought we'd be hearing about a DIY circumcision.

And I thought Chef was going to be his own Lorena Bobbitt.
