    Roy "Futureman" Wooten, percussion for Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, who is not quite like any other drummer I know of. He built the instrument and recorded all the various drum hits.

    And I would be remiss if I didn't give a hat tip to his brother, Victor Wooten, who plays bass in the same band. This man is one of the best bassists working, and not many people know him. Good stuff. He's worth a little dive into Youtube.

    One more. Full Flecktones. The guy on the sax is Jeff Coffin, who also plays with the Dave Matthews Band. Bela Fleck, about the only jazz banjo player I know of, comes in at 3:14. He's not particularly strong in this clip, but these guys can flat play.
