I fear this is going to suck: A Bridge To Terabithia movie

What's controversial about it?

 

I'm pretty sure they already made a TV movie out of it about 25 years ago...

 

Nothing can suck worse than how bad they ruined The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

That sucked so hard.

 

I thought that movie was crap, too, but given the audience it wanted, I'm not sure what could have been changed.

Having the Borg queen as the witch was some interesting casting.

 

Since I was in the biz at the time, I read Bridge when it first came out in '77--I was in my late 20's at the time. Unbelievable book

I'd also recommend "The Great Gilly Hopkins" and "Jacob I Have Loved".

The Westing Game was kinda cute. No great shakes.
