  1. Some of us Major League snobs refuse to even acknowledge that movie existed.

Octavia Spencer - from the help - was a loud neighbor in "SWAT" and was a nurse - maybe one line - in "A Time to Kill."

He and Michael Caine are among the most prominent actors least likely to turn down a paycheck, methinks.

Dana Carvey had a tiny role (might have even been edited out of the final cut) in Halloween II. I remember seeing his name in the credits back when he was still on SNL and thinking, "Wait ... whuh?"

I've come across some good ones watching the latest version of Doctor Who. A young Andrew Garfield has a terrible southern accent in what was one of his first roles. Also, one of the more critically acclaimed eps of the show has a really good performance form Carey Mulligan.

I often forget that Samuel L. Jackson was in Jurassic Park.

Zooey Deschanel in Almost Famous is another one that I often forget until I'm re-watching it.

Jon Favreau was also on Friends. As was Thomas Lennon.

For USA fans, Sarah Shahi and Patrick Adams were both in Old School.

I'm talking about prominent actors -- not comedians!
