I bought an iPod Classic instead of a Zune.

First, leave me out of this.

Second, get back to the topic on hand.

I'm looking at getting a Zune, I'd be interested in hearing from anyone else here who may have had experience with them. I'm looking at the 80GB model.

A guy in the office bought one for his wife for Christmas. She adores it.

Given his spelling difficulties, I'm sure he spelled douchebag wrong on his initial google search.

Because I think iPods are cliche?

    Honestly,

They are overpriced, overhyped and they freeze all the time. How many people on this board have had an ipod that just randomly started working?

Many other mp3 players feature similar specs at lower prices but people don't buy them because they have to own an ipod. Like North Face coats, Ugg boots, or anything else you can think of that is stereotypical (or douchebaggishly stereotypical).

Just remember, stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason.

I'm not trying to join the beatdown, but I don't think an object can be cliche.

For the record, I have an 80GB iPod and have never had a problem to date.

    Go with the Zune.

Built in FM tuner. I have one in my creative zen micro, I love it.

I am almost certain the 80gb Ipod does not have that.

I got an iPod so I wouldn't have to listen to the radio.

Where I live, an FM station carries local MLB and NFL games.

    Ipods don't broadcast those things.
