I can call Chavez a clown as well. Just not in his country.

And for that, Bush is probably jealous he hasn't been able to enact the same article here.

Do you have proof that he wasn't?

At least with Chavez you know what you are getting, he's a brute and thug, but he doesn't try to wrap himself as God's messenger on Earth.
And Chavez at least he didn't launch an unprovoked war against a formerly friendly country that has currently cost $750 billion.
With Bush, who knows what God will tell him to do next?

    You're an idiot.

That's helpful, productive and backed by more than raw emotions, isn't it?

No, Dr. Phil, it's simple math. Defending Hugo Chavez (and that's what Jay was doing) = You're an idiot.

So calling Chavez a brute and a thug is defending him?

Oz: Your feelings are irrelevant. Just because dude you don't like is president (and has been a bad, bad president), doesn't mean anything other than you're unhappy and want to spout off about illicit election practices. In 2000, Gore would have won if he simply had his longtime home state vote for him as they had so many times before. In 2004, Rove got gay marriage on the ballot in key states, and that got their conservative constituency out. With so many substantial things to rip Bush for, there is no need to grasp at these "It was FIXED!!!!!!" straws.

Farrar: Wow. Sometimes I wonder if people just post stuff to gauge reactions, to stir the pot and see what happens.

The only reason Chavez has a voice is because he has oil. As has been said, the great irony is that the thing that has filled the coffers of Bush and friends in their lives is also that which has made their foreign enemies relevant.

I mean, ya, Hugo's bad, but he's not THAT bad.
