Huge, huge sports story that won't (but should) get extensive coverage ...

Not writing about this until all the samples, blood panels and gas chromatographs come back from USADA/WADA.

    Still. Congratulations.

Six witnesses. The rest of my threesome, and the foursome on the next tee.

The only hole-in-one I've ever personally witnessed has to be one of the worst ever made. Short par 3, small pond in front of the green, which sloped fairly severely from front to back. Hole was in the back. One of my buddies hits a semi-wormburner, skips on the pond exactly four times on its way to the green and flies up the green into the hole.

Timed that windmill just right, huh?

**damn it, didn't see the youtube link until now.

Seriously, congrats. It took my father 35 years of playing golf before he got his first, and then he had three in successive years. I've had one, but I was playing alone so I keep it quiet unless I want the inevitable eyerolls.

We need details -- distance/club at least. Hazards?

Every so often at the paper we'd get one from a grandma who got an ace from 95 yards with a 3-wood. This better not be one of those.
