Huge fire at Dubai skyscraper

    As to your last point, the only way there are no fatalities is if no one was in the building.

    And to be fair, Fox News was discussing it in regard to the safety and wisdom of going on with the fireworks show. And they have a good point. But they were pushing the terror angle pretty hard. No way should that show go on.

    I've never seen anything like that -- a skyscraper engulfed in flames from bottom to top. I don't think even the Towering Inferno was that bad.

    90 percent contained CNN says. Umm, sure. And 14 minor injuries?

    "There are no injuries, thank God ... of course, it will not affect the celebration," Maj. Gen. Rashed al-Matrushi, general director of the Dubai Civil Defence, told the live broadcast.

    I have a hard time believing someone would say that if it wasn't true.

    And, if it is true, it's miraculous. If not, it's another "Miners Found Alive" level blunder.
