    Five-inning run-rule game:
Pitcher has a 14-0 lead through three innings, gives up eight runs in the fourth and is pulled. The next kid gives up four runs but gets to the fifth and is pulled. Kid comes on in the fifth and faces the lead run before retiring him and his team then scores six runs to win the game by the run-rule. Who is credited with the win, pitcher 1, 2 or 3? Coach says 1 with 3 getting the save.

By NFHS rule (9-6b)... If a game wend for whatever reason, having gone less than seven innings, then the starting pitcher shall have pitched three or more consecutive innings to be declared the winning pitcher....

So 1 (win) and 3 (save) is correct.
