    I'm also hearing reports that they received additional benefits in the form of token to play games of pinball between games.

    By the way, what.a.cluster at Howard University athletics. From the looks of that story the idea of a professionally run athletic department with NCAA compliance just doesn't exist. Seems like the definition of a failure to monitor the program. Also, the NCAA restrictions are arcane and stupid.
