They stick with Cassel, but find another backup...

That's how I voted. They should give Matt Cassel an opportunity to show he belongs in the NFL. He made some good plays today against the Chiefs, but how will he do against the Jets when New York has a full week to prepare for him?

But it's what Brady did with this personnel which is much better than what he's had. I doubt he would have gotten to 50 TDs again, but he would have had a better than career-average season.

Taking a look at the Pats schedule, they should still finish 10-6 at worst.

As long as Cassell doesn't throw six picks a game, they'll easily sweep the Fins and the entire NFC West (that's six wins), they'll split with the Jets and Bills (make that eight), they already beat KC (that's nine) and they should have no trouble with Oakland (ten).

Going 10-6 gets them a playoff spot and a probable home playoff game against the fifth seed (NYJ maybe? San Diego? Denver?)

Given the Pats preparation in playoffs games where they weren't going against Eli Manning, I would like their chances in the first round.

Anything beyond that is a remarkable accomplishment.

(And this is coming from the biggest fanboi loser for the Pats on this board).
