How will Patriots handle Brady situation?

    Tom Brady is much better and younger than Bledsoe was at that point. I don't think you can compare the situations at all. They'd get good value for Cassel probably. And the only way Cassel proves to be "just as good as Brady" is if he makes the Pats the best offense of all time (or at least top 5) and throws 50 TD passes. He won't come anywhere close to any of that.

    I don't think throwing 50 touchdowns and making the Pats the best of all time is a good comparison for what Brady has done in his career. I think a Brady-like season would be 25-28 TDs, 12-14 INTs and a 12-4, 11-5 record.
    Two years ago, Brady threw 24 TDs; if Cassel plays full time and hits that number, that would be huge for the team.

    Mr. XFL MVP himself. He's still at the top of the XFL record books with 2,186 passing yards and 18 touchdowns.
