How to leave a new job?

    How bad can PR be, especially if you're home for dinner and don't work weekends?

    If you enjoy kissing ass or sucking another part of the anatomy, then yes, PR can be a good fit. It's not for everyone.

    I did something similar after five weeks. Didn't include it. Never been a problem. 4 jobs since (yeah I'm sort of a job hopper)

    I left my nonjournalism job after 5 months.

    I still have it on my resume because it was a really good job and says a lot about my professional ability. The 5-month part doesn't look great on my resume. But I'm still at my next job, 2+ years later, so I agree that it balances out.

    Mulligan,

    Put it on your resume.

    In 5 years when you are still looking for a better job, all your worries about this short-time position will be gone.

    It's a win-win!
