But what if it would be a Penn State-Oregon State rematch? I can't see the Rose wanting that.

The Rose Bowl will take any decent B10-P10 pairing it can get.

Lets face it - the BCS Doomsday Scenario has already occured. If an undefeated SEC team can get left in the cold and the system survives, it is as indefatigable as Wile E. Coyote.

    That can't happen this season.

put away the pompons... while it sucked that an undefeated team was left out, that wasn;t exactly a banner year for the best conference in world history....

That, and it's not like Auburn (and Utah) were left out for two one-loss teams.

Let it happen! If Oklahoma beats Texas Tech on Saturday, we're talking a likely three-way Big 12 South tie with each of the teams claiming a win over one of the others. The BCS standings determine the rep in that scenario for the Big 12 championship game, which will honk off the two also-rans.

However, if the South rep loses to Mizzou, then one of those also-rans might sneak in anyway, a la, Nebraska in 2001.

I sooooo want this to happen. The more people that are pissed at the BCS, the better.

If Bama loses the Iron Bowl and then beats Florida, and Mizzou beats the B12 South champion, the defecation will really hit the rotary oscillator.

    UF loses to FSU
