I ask because this study indicates that marriages are more likely to end in divorce as the age gap grows.

Mrs. Whitman is seven weeks older than Mr. Whitman. And I do think it's helpful that our cultural and current events experiences align.

 

Mrs. Huggy is two years and four months older than me as I often remind her. If we get divorced it will be because of something stupid I did (HC would agree here) not because of our ages.

 

Mrs. Reacher is 354 days older than Mr. Reacher.

 

Five years younger.

One year older.

Four years younger.

The emotional maturity gaps look entirely different.

 

3 months older, as I remind her with great regularity.

 

I am six months older, but she is way more mature.

 

I'm about nine months older than Mrs. t_b_f.

 

Mrs. MTM 1 was five years younger and was 22 when we married

Mrs. MTM 2 is 11 years younger and was 31 when we married

Our cultural experiences were definitely different, especially since she grew up partially overseas as a military brat.

She gets a kick out of the fact she is the same age as the people I covered in my early days as a sports reporter and I'll laugh when she references something from grade school and I'll say "I was in college."

 

I am six years older.

 

My gf (maybe wife) is mature. I am immature.
