How NOT to address a political leader. Miss Manners just fainted.

Cute straw man, Lyman. What's his name?

  2. Dickens Cider, I think. (Very clever, BTW.)

Hey I personally think that if he has that good a relationship with foreign leaders than there is nothing wrong with it. If they don't like it that's different.

Some people on here just cannot deal with the fact that some world leaders actually like the guy.
Of course Harper is no Chavez or Castro. Those are the world leaders most on this board look up to.

Yet I'll still get besieged by e-mails wanting to know why Snoop Dogg is our president.

Ah, yes, the old hypotheticals. One of Lyman's favourites.

I doubt Obama would stoop to fratboy kegger banter at a G8 Summit.

And Dion has as much chance of being PM as I do.

If you're going to insult me, come up with something original.

Hey, it's not my fault that your President is an international embarrassment.

    Harper seems to like him.

  9. I thought "everybody's favorite smug Canadian" was decent, but it's always better for journalists to be simple and direct.

OK, this is also funny. Stephen Harper shaking hands with Russian President Dmitri Medvedev

Dimitri's thinking, "Who the hell is this guy?"

Harper is looking--as usual -like the President of the local Rotary Club

You're a journalist? I guess anyone can join that club.

Sorry to piss on your parade but as I said, it's not my fault your President has the social graces of a thirteen year old.

  12. Well, if that's the case, he beats you by at least a year.
