    I'd be careful of this. "Web maintenance" sounds like you might be on call 24/7 to troubleshoot. It could be a major time suck. Also, if they're in digital marketing, a good-looking and well-functioning website is probably more important than the content.

    If you can, try to negotiate being paid per project for the writing (based on length - assuming the pieces will have similar word counts), and per hour for "web maintenance."
