I don't remember much coverage of IUPUI. They certainly don't travel with them. Butler has been a full-time traveling beat for at least the last year, and probably the last couple.

Butler's interest is pretty localized -- it's a small school with a small alumni base (although much of that base is in Central Indiana). They've picked up quite a few fans the last decade with several Sweet 16 runs, but they're a distant third behind Indiana and Purdue even in Indianapolis.

Indiana State, Ball State and even IUPUI barely exist in this market, even though there are a lot of alumni of all three schools.

 

Rabjohns did some IUPUI coverage when they were good (think George Hill years). Butler has all its games broadcast on one of the two larger local sports stations.
